  Obituary: Eric Ryan Swendsen, 30, of Humble, Texas passed away on October 2, 2017 after suffering a heart attack. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., at Rosewood Funeral Home Atascocita in Humble, Texas. The Rev. Patrick J. Miller will be officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 at Rosewood Funeral Home. Eric was born on August 11, 1987 in Plantation, Florida. He graduated from Crosby High School and attended McMurry University where he played baseball and met the love of his life, Jessica. Eric married Jessica Browning on September 18, 2010. Eric worked as a Horsepower Scheduler with Kirby Inland Marine for the last 5 years. Eric enjoyed baseball and spending time with his friends, family, and especially his wife, and 2 sons. Eric is survived by his wife Jessica and sons Cooper and Elijah; his father Bill Swendsen and wife Diane of Crosby, Texas; his brother Christopher of Gretna, Louisiana; his sister Kendall of Katy, Texas; his father and mother in law Jimmy and Brenda Browning of Sweetwater, Texas; sister in law Sharla Lisenbee and husband Howdy of Abilene, Texas; brother in law Jon Browning and wife Brenda of Sweetwater, Texas; God parents Mark and Sharon Hunter of St. John, Indiana; Grandmother, Rose Whitted; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, a great nephew and great niece. Eric was preceded in death by his mother, Jeannie Whitted Swendsen; his maternal grandparents Allen O. Whitted, and Mae Dell and Addley Coleman; paternal grandparents William and Janet Swendsen.
