Notes - Obituary:
Betty Virginia Fletcher, 19, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P.W. Fletcher, long time Shreveport residents, died at 2:45 p.m. yesterday at Houston, Texas. She had been ill of pneumonia for a week.
Miss Fletcher moved to Houston about a year ago with her parents. She was reared in Shreveport and attended school here. Her father was employed by the Shreveport Railways company for many years.
Besides her parents, she is survived by one sister, Patsy Ann Fletcher, Houston; and the maternal and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Houston and Mr. and Mrs. R.L. Fletcher, all of Shreveport.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Osborn funeral chapel in Shreveport and burial will be in Forest Park cemetery. The Rev. F.W. Harold, pastor of the Woodlawn Baptist church, Houston, will conduct services.
