Notes - Obituary:
Funeral services for Mr. Ebenezer Miller, 91, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Opelousas with burial in Bellevue Memorial Park.
The Rev. David Broussard will conduct the services.
Mr. Miller, a resident of Opelousas, died at 2:55 p.m. Wednesday, November 18, 1998, in Opelousas General Hospital. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include: a son, Pat Miller of Opelousas; a half brother, A.B. Cummings of Opelousas; a half sister, Irene Guillory of Opelousas; a grandchild; a great-grandchild; and a special niece; Jeanette G. Thibodeaux.
Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Lanclos Miller; his father, Ignace Miller; his mother, Lela McBride; two brothers, Montgomery Miller and Edwin R. Cummings; and two sisters, Isabelle Gautreaux and Virginia Bourgeois.
Visiting hours will be observed from 3 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. Friday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home on the Old Sunset Hwy in Opelousas is in charge of arrangements.
