      Funeral o J. W. Houston

      The Funeral o J. W. Houston, who died in the Schumpert Sanitarium from the effects of a blow on the head, inflicted two weeks ago by a negro with who he had an argument on his place near McDade, was held from his home near that place Monday morning, at 10 o'clock. Mr. Houston is survived by two sisters, Mrs. George Morris of Bossier City and Mrs. George Jones of Koran; a son, N. M. Houston of Shreveport, and seven other children.
