  Obituary: Mrs. Emma R. Andrus Dies Suddenly At Home Of Daughter Mrs. Emma Ruth Andrus, age 79, died suddenly at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Powell with whom she made her home, early Friday night, Feb. 3. The deceased, who before her marriage was Miss Emma Ruth Folsom, was born and reared in Madison County. Shew as a member of the First Baptist church and was faithful in attendance. Her husband, the late Dallas Andrus, preceded her in death 38 years. Survivors include four sons, Ike Andrus of Dallas, J. H. Andrus of North Zulch, W. L. Andrus of Pierce and H. C. Andrus of Hawkins, Texas; four daughters, Mrs. Ona Harris of San Antonio, Mrs. Henry Powell of Madisonville, Mrs. Herman Denman of North Zulch, Mrs. Willie Weaver of Houston; 19 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Funeral service was held at the Willowhole Baptist church Sunday, Feb. 5, at 3 o'clock with Rev. A. J. Hosea and Rev. Fleming McDuffie of North Zulch conducting the service with was under the direction of Day Funeral Home. Pallbearers were grandsons, Milton Andrus, Oliver Andrus, Dallas Andrus, Ray Harris, Billie Powell and Johnny Adams. Granddaughters served as flower girls. Burial was in Willowhole cemetery.
