      Funeral Services Held Sunday for Mrs. John Q. Adams

      Funeral services were held at 2:00 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Willow Hole church for Mrs. John Q. Adams, 39, who died September 12 at her home in Houston. Mrs. Adams was Willie Bettye Lang before her marriage to Mr. Adams. She was born and reared in North Zulch, and had lived there until eight years ago when they moved to Houston. She had been a member of the Missionary Baptist Church since 1933.

      Survivors include her husband, John Q. Adams, of Houston; two daughters, Billie Adams and Mrs. A. L. Strempel, also of Houston; her father, W. F. Lang, of Juliff; two sisters, Mrs. N. W. Barron of Sugarland and Mrs. W. J. Redden, of Freeport and two brothers, John L. Lang of North Zulch and J. Ira Lang of Freeport.

      Services were conducted by Rev. U. Van Sickle of Elkhart with interment in the Willow Hole Cemetery under the direction of Day Funeral Home. Pallbearers were N. N. Watkins, R. W. Miller, A. V. Peden, Alvin Peden Jr., Ted Pedend and E. E. Arensberg all of Houston.
