Notes - Obituary:
Funeral services will be held at a 2:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, June 13, 1994 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Jack W. Daigle, 59, who died at 11 a.m. Friday, June 10, 1994 at his residence in Lafayette.
Interment will take place in Calvary Mausoleum of the Resurrection. Rev. Joseph Stemmann, pastor of the St. John Church, Henry, will conduct the services.
Jack was a native of Lafayette, the son of the late Frank Daigle and Laura Marie LeBlanc. He attended Cathedral, Immaculate High School, and Southwestern Louisiana Institute. Jack served in the U.S. Air Force for 14 years and worked for the Department of Defense, retiring in 1990 with 34 years of government service.
Mr. Daigle is survived by his wife, the former Mary Ann Toussel, Lafayette; one daughter, Jacqueline Ann Daigle, Lafayette; one grandson, Joshua Adam Daigle, Lafayette; three brothers, Brother Thomas Daigle, F.S.C., Denver, Co.; Frank Daigle, New Orleans, and Richard Daigle, El Paso, Texas; and one sister, Mrs. Leo (Helen) Borel, Austin, Texas. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles Daigle, John Henry Daigle, and James Daigle.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed Sunday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. to service time. A rosary will be recited at the funeral home Sunday at 7 p.m. The funeral is under the direction of Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive.
