Graveside services for Rhoda Ann Greer Mallard, 96, of Palestine will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Land of Memory Cemetery with Dr. J.W.L. Adams of College Station officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
Mrs. Mallard died Wednesday (Apr 4, 2007) at Elkhart Oaks Care Center.
She was born July 16, 1910 at Millican, Texas to George Washington Greer and Maudie Lucille Craig Greer. In 1938, she married Riley Daniel "Jack" Mallard in Leona, Texas and shortly thereafter moved to Palestine where she has lived since then.
Mrs. Mallard was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church and she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Riley Daniel "Jack" Mallard; three sisters and four brothers.
Mrs. Mallard is survived by a brother, George Greer of Millican; nephew, Harris Lohmeyer and wife Becky of Elkhart; great-niece, Kellie Lohmeyer of Elkhart and great-nephew, Clint Lohmeyer of Elkhart; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
