  Death Notice: Miss Lela Spence died at the residence of her father Mr. Jim Spence, in North Jonesboro, last Friday of miningitis. She was buried Sunday from the North Jonesboro Baptist church and the burial services were conducted by Rev. Bearden. (Published in The Jonesboro Weekly Sun on April 16, 1903)
