      Sandy Hafley Herman
      March 10, 1959 - May 20, 1994

      HEARNE - Funeral services for Sandy Hafley Herman, 35, of Hearne will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Full Gospel Church in Gause.

      The Rev. Calvin Springer, pastor of the Full Gospel Church in Rockdale, will officiate. Burial will be in the Gause Cemetery. Visiting hours are from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Memorial Funeral Home in Hearne.

      Mrs. Herman died at home.

      She was born in Hearne and had lived there most of her life. Mrs. Herman graduated from Tivy High School in Kerrville in 1977.

      She had worked as an activity director and worked to help the elderly. She was a member of the Green Thumb Garden Club of Hearne and the Country Community Church of Kerrville.
      Family members said Mrs. Herman enjoyed fishing and gardening.

      Survivors include her husband, Wayne Herman of Hearne; a brother, Floyd Hafley II of Austin; her parents, Floyd and Jean Hafley of Hearne; and grandmother, Mary J. Hafley Walston of Gause.

      Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation, Nephrology Center.
