Notes - Obituary:
Danny Lee Spence, 33, an employee of the Federal Energy Commission in Helena, died Thursday morning at St. Peter's Community Hospital following an extended illness.
He was born June 3, 1945, in Oswego, N.Y., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Spence. The family later moved to California.
Spence was graduated from the University of California at Fullerton.
He was employed with the Government Accounting Office until transferring to Helena three years ago with the Federal Energy Commission.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Spence of LaMirada, Calif.; a sister, Jerris Maloy of Camino Ireland, Wash.; and three nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Retz Funeral chapel.
