LAKE ARTHUR - Funeral services for Edmond Faulk, 69, of 621 Lake Arthur St., were held at 9 a.m. today in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with the Rev. Gerard C. Smit, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Abshire Cemtery near Kaplan with Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur in charge of arrangements. A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel.
Faulk died at 9:45 a.m. Saturday at his residence following a long illness. He was a native of Maurice, a retired commercial fisherman. He was a resident of Lake Arthur eigh years moving there from Gueydan.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dulcey Clement Faulk of Lake Arthur; two daughters, Mary Lou Faulk of Houston, Tex. and Mrs. Lou Ella Ardoin of Basile; three sons, Curley Faulk of High Point, N.C., Harry Lee Faulk of Texas City, Tex. and Harold J. Faulk of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Sunua Royer of Gueydan and Mrs. Adam Trahan of Kaplan; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
