Joseph H. Ray
Funeral services for Mr. Joseph Harold Ray, 68, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in St. Landry Catholic Church in Opelousas with burial in Bellevue Memorial Park.
Mr. Ray, a resident of Opelousas, died at 6:20 p.m. Monday in Doctors' Hospital in Opelousas.
Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Allee Gautreaux Ray of Opelousas; two sons, Darrell James Ray of Littleton, Colo., and Philip Ray of Port Royal, S.C.; two daughters, Mrs. Robert T. (Clara) McKee of Shreveport, and Mrs. Stanley W. (Jane) Newsom of Sarepta; two brothers, Lee Vernon Ray of Bossier City and Clay Andrew Ray of Alexandria, a sister, Mrs. Charles B. (Helen) Vanderlick of Alexandria; and five grandchildren.
Visiting hours are from 10 a.m-10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. Thursday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m.
LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home on North Main in Opelousas is in charge of arrangements.
