  Obituary: James D. Farmer, 76, of Wichita Falls died Saturday in a Wichita Falls hospital. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack Dial, pastor of Evangel Temple Assembly of God, and the Rev. James Gilbert, associate pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park. Mr. Farmer was born on Jan. 13, 1915, in Sulphur Springs, Texas. He was retired from civil service at Sheppard Air Force Base. Survivors include his wife, Willie of Wichita Falls, two daughters, Cleta Farmer Newton and Linda Farmer Fugett, both of Houston, a foster daughter, Lou Udan of Bryan, Texas, a sister, Eva Nell Elliot of Quincy, Calif., two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. The family will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday. (Published in The Wichita Falls Times Record News on November 25, 1991)
