  Obituary: Joy Lee Howland was born in Big Spring, Texas on December 11th, 1933. February 10, 2024 Joy went to join her host of loved ones that had gone before her. She is now joined with her husband of 74 years Robert Howland who passed away on March 6th, 2023, and grandson Robert Howland Jr. on July 3, 2023. Joy was also preceded in death by her parents RX McNew and Lillie Ruth McNew, 4 brothers and one sister. Joy is survived by one son Robert D. Howland and wife Kay of Big Spring. Granddaughter Michelle Crenshaw and husband Shannon of Big Spring and several great grandchildren; three sisters Carolyn Rodgers, Barbara Clark and husband Danny of Big Spring, and Sharron and Bob Husson of Dallas. Joy was a lifelong member of Trinity Baptist Church in Big Spring. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
