  Obituary: Robbie Diane Youngblood Prihoda April 22, 1942 - December 25, 2023 PRIHODA- Mrs Robbie Diane McNew Prihoda age 81 of Hwy. 41 Brewton, Alabama passed away Monday December 25, 2023 in a local nursing facility after an extended illness. She was born April 22, 1942 in Florence, Arkansas to Robert and Pauline Breedlove Youngblood. Diane was a long time resident of Wharton, Texas where she was the secretary of the First Baptist Church. She then went on to be the secretary/bookkeeper of the Ruth-Schneider Plumbing in Wharton, Texas. She moved to Brewton, Alabama in the mid 1990's where she retired from Moore Creek Mt. Carmel Water Utilities in Jay, Florida. Mrs. Prihoda loved her gospel/bluegrass music and loved to square dance. She was also a faithful member of the East Brewton First Baptist Church. Survivors: (1) Son- Rickey (Marie) McNew of Berrydale, Florida (2) Daughters- Mary (Paige) Howell of Brewton, Alabama Tonya McNew of Wharton, Texas (10) Grandchildren- Christopher (Tonya) McNew, James (Ted) McNew, Nathan McNew, Porsche (Cody) Helton, Jamie Alcalar, Miranda Cordero, Heath (Rachel) Stewart, Dylon Godwin, Brandon Howell, Kaleb Howell (8) Great Grandchildren ***Preceded in death by: Husband of 34 years- James Roy McNew Daughter- Debbie Diane Brown (2) Grandsons- Cody Micheal Brown, Byron Daniel Stewart Memorial services are scheduled for Tuesday night February 13, 2024 at 6:00 P.M. at the East Brewton First Baptist Church with Rev.
