  Obituary: Tommy Wells BENTON, LA - Services for Mr. Tommy Wells, 51, of Benton, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday Feb. 18 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. The Rev. Truman Moses, of First Baptist Church of Benton, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Gary Melancon, minister of music of Sunset Acres Baptist Church, and the Rev. Wayne Craig, of First Baptist Church of Benton. Burial will be at Lay Cemetery at rural Benton, La. Mr. Wells died Tuesday Feb. 16, 1988, in Shreveport after a short illness. He was born in Benton and was a resident most of his life. Mr. Wells was an employee of Frank's Farms and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Vivian. He is survived by his mother, Mary L. Wells of Benton; tow sons, Tomas E. Wells, Jr. and Daniel M. Wells, of Benton; a daughter, Darla Stephens of Colton, Calif.; a sister, Zelda Orr of Shreveport; two brothers, John D. Wells of Fountain Valley, Calif. and James H. Wells of Longview, Texas; a granddaughter, Alicia Wells of Bossier City, La. Pallbearers will be Murray Wells, Robert Parker, Michael Orr, Randy Hagan, Gene Schilling and Joel Schilling. Honorary pallbearers: Dr. Tommy Williams and Joe Lee.
