Carol Ann LeBleu, 68, of Lake Charles, LA, died at 11:13 PM on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 in a local hospital.

Ms. LeBleu was born April 7, 1950 in Lake Charles, LA, where she was a lifelong resident and graduate of LaGrange High School. She was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church and retired in 2013 from the Calcasieu Parish School Board, where she was a longtime bus driver. She loved spending time outdoors, fishing, traveling, and dancing. She also enjoyed her coffee talk with her family and friends, shopping, and loved to watch her grandson play sports. She was a strong woman who was a two time Glioblastoma survivor and will be missed dearly.

Ms. LeBleu is survived by her daughters, Cherie Trahan and husband Christopher and Gena Kershaw, all of Lake Charles; sisters, Barbara Kennedy and husband Fred of Lake Charles and Earline Necaise of Florien, LA; and her grandson, Colby Trahan; countless nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and other family members; and her beloved dog, Lil Bit.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arsan LeBleu and Eunice Beard; and a grandchild, Devon Trahan.

Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 25, 2019 at St. Margaret Catholic Church. Father Marcus Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at Johnson Funeral Home on Friday from 10:00 AM to 12:40 PM with rosary at 12:00 PM.
