(Published in The Lafayette Daily Advertiser on November 13, 2010) Obituary: Heather Rae Gillock April 29, 1976 - November 11, 2010 Memorial Services will be held on Friday, November 19, 2010 at 3:00 PM in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille. Heather Rae Gillock, 34, died on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Iberia Medical Center.Heather was born and raised in Lafayette, LA, and has lived in the Acadiana area for most of her life. Heather graduated from Acadiana High School in 1994, where she enjoyed cheerleading and excelled in speech and debate. She attended Sam Houston State University for two years in the study of Communications. Heather was known for her vibrant, outgoing personality and her loving, kind spirit.
