    • Obituary:

      Pauline Josephine Henson, 93, of Urania, died Friday, September 15, 2006, at the LaSalle Nursing Center in Jena.

      She was a homemaker and a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Mrs. Henson was born on Oct. 13, 1912, in Zwolle.

      Services were held at 4 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 17, at the Urania United Methodist Church in Urania with Rev. Curtis Carroll officiating.

      Interment followed in the Urania Cemetery under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Olla.

      She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry H. Henson.

      Survivors include her son, Harry K. Henson and wife Pat of Greensboro, N.C.; three daughters, Norma Jane Brandon of Urania, Virginia Lee Casement of Lincoln, NE; and Paula Fran Brown and husband Bill of Urania; nine grandchildren, Gary Brandon, Randy Brandon, Mark Brandon, Robin Pilcher, Lisa Bunch, Lori Shaw, James Casement, Shannon Brown, and Janna Brown; six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Frances A. Bradley of Huntsville, Tx.; and a very dedicated caregiver, Janice Gauthier.

      Pallbearers were Gary Brandon, Shannon Brown, Bill Brown, Stephen Brandon, James Casement, and Randy Brandon.

      Honorary pallbearers were Tom Nowlin and Glenn Henderson.
