Cleve Sepulvado
September 22, 1921 - March 15, 2011
Cleve Sepulvado, Sr was born September 22, 1921 in Zwolle, La. He died on March 15, 2011 in Shreveport, La., at the age of 89.
Funeral services were held at 10:00AM, Friday, March 18, 2011, at St Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Tim Hurd officiating. Internment followed in the St Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery with Military Honors.
Mr Sepulvado was a veteran of WWII. He was in Campaigns/Battles in Rhineland and Normandy. Citations & Decorations included the Good Conduct Medal, European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with three Bronze Battle Stars.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John H. and Julia Procella Sepulvado, sisters, Della Rivers, Emalee Ebarb, Florence Malmay and Bessie Garcie: brothers, Jessie Sepulvado, Joe E. Sepulvado, Mitchell Sepulvado, and Raymond J. Sepulvado.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Theresa Kezerle Sepulvado of Noble; daughters, Gwen Garcie and husband David of Noble, Ginger Malmay and husband Jerry of Zwolle, Janet Brown of Zwolle, Billie Jean Cartinez and husband Joe of Zwolle, and Daisy Smith and friend Bobby Cloud of Anacoco; sons, Cleve Sepulvado, Jr and wife Cathy of Noble, Larry E. Sepulvado and wife Kathy of Noble, 14 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchidren and a sister-in-law, Thelma "Mae" Garcie Sepulvado, a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers were Phillip Garcie, Joel Garcie, Jacolby Garcie, Shane Sepulvado, Kyle Sepulvado, Jonathan Cartinez, Weston Smith and Jordan Ezernack.
