  Obituary: Maj. William Sidney Carr Graveside services for Maj. William Sidney Carr, 61, of Oak Park, Mich., and formerly of Bryan, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bryan City Cemetery. Callaway-Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Maj. Carr died at home on March 5. He was born in Bryan and he retired from the U.S. Air Force after serving 21 years as a command pilot. He received a bachelor's degree in marketing from Texas A&M in 1954, and master's degrees from Mary Grove College in Michigan and from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He was preceded in death by his brother, John K. Carr, in January, 1994. Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Timothy "Tim" and Rae Carr of Dearborn, Mich., and James "Jim" Carr of Ann Arbor, Mich.; a daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Aaron Foreman of Oklahoma City; his mother, Willie Mae Gouger of Bryan; a sister-in-law, Joanna Carr Baker of Lakeway; an aunt and uncle, Charles E. and Margie R. Shepperd of Bryan; and two grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 4358, Bryan 77805. (Published in The Bryan-College Station Eagle on March 12, 1995)
