Royace Bentley "R.B." Carnes, 77, a former resident of Corpus Christi, passed away Friday, December 14, 1990 in San Antonio, Texas.
He was born in Harvey, Texas. He was a Veteran of World War II, a member of the Masonic Lodge of Santa Paula, California, and was a member of Al Melikha Shriners in Los Angeles, California.
He is survived by his wife, Billie Carnes of San Antonio; two sons, Mike Carnes of Ojai, California, and Rick Powless of Oxnard, California; two daughters, Donna Sheppard of Illinois, and Royace Ann Zelinesky of Bryan, Texas; four sisters, Vivian Crites of Sonora, Texas, Kay Wilson of Arlington, Texas, Flora Peyton of Bryan, and Minnie Dell Carnes of Wichita Falls, Texas; nine grandchildren; an done great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, December 17, 1990 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel in Corpus Christi with Dr. Paul E. Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park in Corpus Christi.
