      ADAMS

      LULA ADAMS, 87, a native Houstonian passed away Friday, June 11, 1999. Preceded in death by her grandson, James Allen Hemby. She is survived by her daughter, Jean Hemby an husband Frank of Houston. Sister Violet Turpin of Radcliff, TX, brother Allen Redmond and wife Luella of New Caney, TX., step-brother Al Davis of San Antonio, TX, grandchildren, Morris Hemby, Montomgomery, TX, Wanda Dowell and husband Glen of Houston, Jamie Chapman and husband Mack of Hitchcock, TX, six great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren, many loving nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Services for Mrs. Adams will be held at 11:30 A.M., Monday, June 14, 1999 in the Chapel of Pat H. Foley Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 3:00 P.M., Sunday. Interment will follow in Rosewood Cemetery in Humble. Rev. Mike Heron from Bible Baptist Church will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Bible Baptist Church, 11721 Aldine Westfield, Houston 77093 or James Driver Community Center, 10918 1/2 Bentley, Houston 77093. A special thanks to all of the wonderful people of the Hospice at Texas Medical Center for all of their loving, gentle care given to mother during her stay.
