Notes - Obituary:
Vernon Thomas McDermott Jr., 60, Pasco, died Thursday at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
He was born in Laverne, Okla., came to Washington in 1935 and graduated from Prosser High School.
He farmed in Finley until 1947 when he was employed by Rockwell as a bus driver.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge of West Richland and Teamsters Local of Pasco.
His parents and a sister died previously.
Survivors include daughters Paula Turnbow, Pam Peterson, Patti Orr, Judy Nicholson all of Kennewick; son Tim McDermott, Pasco; brother Gary McDermott, Spokane; and 11 grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Riverview Heights Cemetery, Kennewick, under the direction of Greenlee Funeral Home, Pasco.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
