- Obituary:
Danny Duane Thomas Peterson passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2005. He was born January 24, 1971, in Gardena, CA, and was raised in Finley, WA. Danny graduated from River View High School in 1989. That same year Danny represented the eastside of the state as quarterback in the East-West Game.
Danny was an avid sportsman, enjoying all the great American sports, including his favorite, skiing and knee-boarding on the Columbia and Snake rivers. Danny served in the Army until an injury left him disabled, with an Honorable Discharge.
Danny's pride and joy was his son Darien, who was born in May of 1992. Danny enjoyed family vacations in the mountains and at the ocean.
He is survived by this father and mother, Roger and Pam Peterson; son Darien; daughter Kailey; brothers, Ryan and David; sister Karyn; our close friends, Lena, Don, Janis, Jo-Jo, Lisa and Chris; special friend, Nona Clary; four aunts and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, an uncle and his cousin, Michael.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at 11 a.m. at the Calvary Chapel, at 4th and Vancouver in Kennewick. Following the services the family invites friends to celebrate Danny's life at the Calvary Chapel Hall. Viewing will be Tuesday from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Mueller's Chapel of the Falls, 314 W. 1st Ave., Kennewick.
In lieu of flowers, a fund has been established at HAPO to help the family with expenses.
