  Obituary: Virginia Jeffress October 1, 1922 - February 15, 2014 Virginia Crow Jeffress, 91, of Monticello died Saturday, February 15, 2014 at The Woods Nursing & Rehab Center in Monticello. She was born October 1, 1922, in Piggott, to the late John Henry Crow and Evelyn Wright Crow. She was the widow of Willie Jeffress, a housewife and was of the Methodist faith. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Linda Jeffress Nelson and Sherry Grant; one sister, Doris Crow Walker; and one brother, Earl Crow. Survivors include one daughter, Lois Sanders, of Monticello; three grandchildren, Cindy Dunemn, of Monticello, Michael Brantley, of Collinsville, Miss. and Cheryl McIlwain of Shreveport, LA; seven great-grandchildren, Ashley Shaw, Dustin Sullivan, Alex Sullivan, William Brantley, Justin Brantley, Andrew Dunemn and Misty Branch; two great-great-grandchildren, Jaxson Shaw and Sawyer Dunemn. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2014, at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with Rev. Zan Pierce officiating. Burial followed in Union Ridge Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Keith Johns, Michael Ray, Glen Walker, Paul Walker, Casey Walker and Danny Graham. Honorary pallbearer were Mike Scroggins, Will Reynolds and Jimmy Simms.
