Marvin Brothers Killed
Marvin Brothers, 57, was killed in an early morning traffic accident Wednesday becoming the city's second traffic fatality this year.
A pickup truck hit Brothers just before 1 a.m. on Virginia Street near its intersection with Waco. Patrolman C.R. Apple identified the driver as Charles J. Hill, 35, St. Johns Mo., who is visiting relatives here.

Both the driver of the vehicle and a passenger Dale Blair, said they did not see the man before they heard something strike the car.
Both said heavy rain was falling.
Brothers' death was the first traffic fatality in Wichita Falls in 121 days. A Lamesa man, killed on the Henrietta Road, was the only other fatality this year.
