Scott Louis Moore, Jr., 78, died Saturday, November 6, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Diana Kay McHan Moore of Bryson City; one son, Scott L. Moore III (Beau) and wife, Barbara, of Orlando, Florida; two grandsons, Grayson Moore of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Mitchell Moore of Orlando, Fla.
Born in Jacksonville, Fla., he was employed by HMC Paving Co. Preceded in death was his mother, Elvee Swain Moore; his father, Scott L. Moore Sr.; and a brother, Robert Swain Moore. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 13, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Bryson City, officiated by the Rev. Peter Mudge.
