Notes - Obituary:
PENUEL, Henry Grady, age 83, of Live Oak, passed away early Sunday, September 26. He was a Leon County Service Officer for the Dept. of Veteran's Affairs from inception in 1940 until his retirement in 1956 when he moved to Live Oak. He is survived by his widow: Pearl of Live Oak; 1 daughter: Mrs. Jack Hedrick of Jacksonville; 1 son: James W. Penuel of St. Petersburg, 1 sister: Mrs. Maye Wallace of Tampa; 3 grandchildren: Carol Hedrick of Jacksonville, James Jr. and John G. Penuel of St. Petersburg. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday morning, September 28, at 11:00 AM at the Graveside in the Live Oak Cemetery with the Rev. Charlie Webb officiating. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the building fund of the First Baptist Church of Live Oak. Harris Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
