Gary Lee Gross Rites Friday
ANDREWS (Special) - Services for Gary Lee Gross, 16-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Gross of Andrews, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Second Baptist Church here.
Burial will be in Andrews Cemetery directed by Singleton Funeral Home.
The youth, a junior at Andrews High School, was injured in a motorcycle accident last week. He was first taken to Permian General Hospital here, then transferred to Odessa's Medical Center Hospital. He died at 9:30 p. m. Wednesday after being hospitalized seven days.
He was born July 20, 1954, in Seminole, and was a member of the Second Baptist Church here.
Survivors other than his parents include one sister, Robbie, and one brother, Rusty, both of the home; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Johnson of Lovington, New Mex.; a grandmother, Mrs. B. J. Gross of Andrews; and a great grandmother, Mrs. Jim Elmore of Seagraves.

ANDREWS (Staff) - Services for Gary Lee Gross, 16, were to be held at 2:30 p.m. today in the Second Baptist Church here with burial in Andrews Cemetery directed by Singleton Funeral Home.
Gross died at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday in Medical Center Hospital in Odessa following injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Born July 20, 1954, in Seminole, he lived most of his life in Andrews. A junior in high school, Gross was a member of the Second Baptist Church.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Gross of Andrews; a sister, Robbie Gross of the home; a brother, Rusty Gross of the home; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. C. L. Johnson of Lovington, N.M.; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. B. J. Gross of Andrews; and a great-grandmother, Mrs. Jim Elmore of Seagraves.
