  Obituary: ODESSA - Services for Loyd Elwood Harrison, 72, of Odessa will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with the Rev. Robert Fletcher officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mr. Harrison died Sept. 24, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born March 7, 1925, in Jayton. He married Barbara Harbison Aug. 1, 1953, in Odessa. Mr. Harrison moved to Odessa in 1934 from Abilene. He was retired from Superior Paraffin Company. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Harrison of Odessa; son, C.A. Popejoy of Odessa; daughter, Gwenda Aldridge of Odessa; brother, N.J. Harrison of Caney, Kan.; five grandchildren, Larry Aldridge of Dallas, Craig Popejoy, Tiffany Aldridge, Amber Aldridge and Taylor Aldridge, all of Odessa.
