  Obituary: Norma H. Puckett, 83, Anderson, died October 2, 2003 at St. John's Medical Center after a sudden illness. She was born September 7, 1920 in Holcomb, MO, the daughter of Robley Howell and Cora (Crow) Hogue. She had lived in Anderson since 1946. In 1979 she retired from Delco Remy. She was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary #174, Alpha Charter Chapter American Business Women, and the Order of Eastern Star #71 in Elwood. She attended the Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Davis of Anderson; seven grandchildren, Dawn (husband, Jerry) Mahoney of Anderson, Jeff (wife, Marilyn) Philbert of Alaska, Julie (husband, David) Bubert of Waco, TX, Rodney (wife, Penny) Philbert of Terre Haute, Mark (wife, Heather) Philbert of Pendleton, Justin (wife, Heidi) Puckett of Anderson, and Holly Puckett of Greenwood; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Ted Hogue of Van Nuys, CA; and special friend, Eric Flowers. She was preceded in death by her life companion, Joseph Puckett; parents, R.H. and Cora Hogue; son, Richard H. Puckett; and three brothers, Owen Hogue, Ralph Hogue, and Robley Hogue. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home with the Rev. Marvin Baker officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. (Published in Legacy on October 3, 2003)
