  Death Notice: Lucille Vaughn HERRIN - Lucille Vaughn, 90, formerly of Herrin, died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007, in her home in Florrisant, Mo. Arrangements are incomplete at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. (Published in The Southern Illinoisan on August 12, 2007) Obituary: Lucille Vaughn HERRIN - Lucille Vaughn, 90, of Florissant, Mo., died at 11:45 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007, at her home. Lucille was born March 11, 1917, in Bush to Harrison and Reba (Robison) Webb. She married Jimmy Vaughn on March 13, 1993, in St. Louis. He preceded her in death June 25, 2002. She worked as an administrative assistant at Ryerson Steel for 32 years prior to her retirement. She was an active member of Florissant Assembly of God. She enjoyed playing the piano, reading the Bible, shopping and traveling with her family. Survivors include a sister-in-law, LaValle Webb of St, Louis, Mo.; eight nieces and nephews; eight great-nieces and nephews; six great-great-nieces and nephews; and five great-great-great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and three brothers, Leo, Harlan and Robert Webb. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007, in Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin, with the Rev. Joe Zarro officiating. Burial will be in Blairsville Cemetery in Blairsville. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007, at the funeral home.
