      JAMES W. TANNER

      Electrical Contractor Dies At Age of 67

      Services for James Walton Tanner of 1310 Mississippi will be at 9 a.m. tomorrow at Memphis Funeral Home. Burial will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow in Johnson Cemetery in Indianola, Mississippi.

      Mr. Tanner, who was 67, died at 12:45 p.m. yesterday at Kennedy Veterans Hospital after a long illness.

      Born in Indianola, he was a World War I veteran. During World War II, he worked at Second Army headquarters at the Fairgrounds.

      An electrical contractor in Grenada, Miss., 1946-57, he was in charge of electrical work during construction of the Grenada Reservoir dam. He returned to Memphis in 1957.

      He leaves his wife and a brother, W. M. Tanner of Memphis.
