Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Wilson (Eva) DeRouen, 84, will be announced by Johnson Funeral Home. She died Tuesday in a local hospital.

- Obituary:
Funeral services for Eva Marie Derouen, 84, will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, in Johnson Funeral Home. The Revs. John Giles and Steve Cox will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation is 5-10 p.m. today, with a Scripture service at 6:30 p.m., and from 8 a.m. Friday.
Mrs. Derouen died at 10:35 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2002, in a local hospital.
She was a native of Rayne and a longtime resident of Lake Charles. She was a charter member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters and the Ladies Altar Society.
Survivors include two sons, Elden P. Derouen of Spring, Texas, and Ron Derouen of Marshall, Texas; one daughter, Nettie Landry of Moss Bluff; two brothers, Willie McBride of Lake Charles and Anderson McBride of Houston; four sisters, Noaline Derise, Willia Mae Robert and Clara Joyce Landry, all of Lake Charles, and Nina Philmon of Carlyss; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
