Obituary:

Thomas Edward "Eddie" Cameron, 63, of Winnie, Texas, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at Christus Hospital-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont, Texas.

He was born on September 1, 1949, in Edinburg, Texas, to Ida Ethelene Underwood Trahan and George Edward Cameron.

Eddie was an avid reader of Westerns and enjoyed reading Louis L'Amour books, fishing, playing dominos and drinking coffee. He was a retired pipe line surveyor. Eddie was a loving father, son, and brother. He was a member of the Winnie-Stowell Church of Christ.

Eddie is survived by his children, Brian Hoffpauir of Winnie and Tina Workman of Punta Gorda, Florida; mother, Ethelene Trahan of Winnie; siblings, Linda Wranosky and her husband, Bud, of Lake Charles, Louisiana; Pam Smith and her husband, Mike; Steve Cameron and his wife, Jana; Lori Evans and her husband, Ray; and Angie Payne and her husband, Jeff; grandchildren, Jennifer Brweske, Kristina Blye, Robert Workman III, Kristen Wright, and Amanda Workman; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Brian Hoffpauir
April 17, 1971 - February 1, 2022

David "Brian" Hoffpauir, 50, of Hamshire, died Tuesday, February 1, 2022. He was born April 17, 1971, in Winnie, to Georgia Mae Hoffpauir and Thomas Edward Cameron.

Survivors include his sister, Tina Workman and husband, Robert, Jr., of Tampa, Florida; paternal grandmother, Ethelene Trahan, of Winnie; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Brueske; Kristina Workman; Robert Workman III; Kristen Wright; and Amanda Jones; nine great-nieces and nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Georgia and Thomas Cameron; grandparents, Ida Mae Hodges, David Hoffpauir; and John Trahan.

A gathering of Mr. Hoffpauir's family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Broussard's, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Broussard's, with his interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
