    Funeral services for Lonnie Gross, 76, of Andrews will be 2:00 PM Monday, November 20, 2006 at Second Baptist Church in Andrews with Rev. Kevin Covington, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the Andrews Old Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home in Andrews.

    He passed away on Friday, November 17, 2006 at Home Hospice House in Odessa.

    He was born February 16, 1930 in Holiday, Texas to Bumon Johnson Gross and Claudia Irene Bryant Gross. He moved to Andrews in 1947 from Seagraves and married Cherry Lee Johnson on December 9, 1950 in Andrews. He served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean Conflict. He owned and operated Gross Garage in Andrews for 52 years. He was a founding member of the Andrews Volunteer Fire Department and a member of Second Baptist Church. He loved drinking coffee with his brother and friends at Buddy's Drive In; twice a day; every day. He was preceded in death by 1 son: Gary Lee Gross in 1972; his parents; and 5 brothers.

    He is survived by his wife: Cherry Gross of Andrews; 1 son: Rusty Gross of Andrews; 1 daughter: Robbie Hale of Andrews; 1 brother: James B. Gross of Andrews; 1 sister: Evelyn Bonham of Kermit; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

    ANDREWS - Lonnie Gross, 76, of Andrews, died Friday, Nov. 17, 2006, at Home Hospice.

    Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Second Baptist Church with the Rev. Kevin Covington officiating. Burial will be at Andrews Old Cemetery. Arrangements are by McNett Funeral Home.

    He was born in Holiday. He was Baptist.

    SURVIVORS: Wife, Cherry Gross of Andrews; son, Rusty Gross of Andrews; daughter, Robbie Hale of Andrews; brother, James B. Gross of Andrews; sister, Evelyn Bonham of Kermit; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

    Gary Lee Gross Rites Friday

    ANDREWS (Special) - Services for Gary Lee Gross, 16-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Gross of Andrews, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Second Baptist Church here.

    Burial will be in Andrews Cemetery directed by Singleton Funeral Home.

    The youth, a junior at Andrews High School, was injured in a motorcycle accident last week. He was first taken to Permian General Hospital here, then transferred to Odessa's Medical Center Hospital. He died at 9:30 p. m. Wednesday after being hospitalized seven days.

    He was born July 20, 1954, in Seminole, and was a member of the Second Baptist Church here.

    Survivors other than his parents include one sister, Robbie, and one brother, Rusty, both of the home; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Johnson of Lovington, New Mex.; a grandmother, Mrs. B. J. Gross of Andrews; and a great grandmother, Mrs. Jim Elmore of Seagraves.

    ANDREWS (Staff) - Services for Gary Lee Gross, 16, were to be held at 2:30 p.m. today in the Second Baptist Church here with burial in Andrews Cemetery directed by Singleton Funeral Home.

    Gross died at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday in Medical Center Hospital in Odessa following injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

    Born July 20, 1954, in Seminole, he lived most of his life in Andrews. A junior in high school, Gross was a member of the Second Baptist Church.

    He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Gross of Andrews; a sister, Robbie Gross of the home; a brother, Rusty Gross of the home; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. C. L. Johnson of Lovington, N.M.; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. B. J. Gross of Andrews; and a great-grandmother, Mrs. Jim Elmore of Seagraves.

    Misty Cowan, 36, of Andrews passed away Friday June 22, 2012 at Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews.

    Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Monday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mack McReynolds will officiate. Services are under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.

    Misty was born April 7, 1976 in Andrews. She has been a lifelong resident of Andrews. She had many many friends and she loved to take care of and to help people. She loved her Animals.

    She was involved in an accident at the age of 14 that left her paralyzed but that never stopped her from living a full life. She was one of the first in Andrews to have a K-9 Companion to help her.

    She is survived by her mother Robbie and husband Ken Hale of Texhoma, Oklahoma; sister Shannon Diane Fretwell of Andrews; grandmother Cherry Gross of Andrews; grandfather Henry Cowan of Spade, Texas; her boyfriend, Brent Terry of Andrews and several nieces and nephews.

    Olivia Layke Gross, 5 month old baby girl of Dustin and Brittanee Gross, of Andrews passed away Friday, October 2, 2015 at Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews.

    Olivia was born April 9, 2015 in Odessa, Texas.
    Some of Olivia's favorite thing were being outside, feeding the ducks at lakeside park in Andrews and watching the Mickey Mouse Play House on TV. Her Mom and Dad enjoyed taking her on camping trips and she loved her dog Bella.
