    Obituary:

    ABBEVILLE - Funeral services are scheduled for today at 2 p.m. in St. John Catholic Church in Henry for Sidney Butaud, 79, who died in the Abbeville General Hospital at 7:45 a.m. Saturday.

    Interment will follow in the New Catholic Cemetery in Abbeville.

    He was a resident of Henry and a retired dairyman.

    Survivors include his widow, the former Effie Bodin of Henry; three sons, J.W. Butaud of Beaumont, Texas, Gordon, of Port Arthur, Gerald of Henry, one daughter, Mrs. L.B. Smith, Port Arthur; five brothers, L.J. of Abbeville, A.J. of Henry, Robert of Beaumont, C.L. of Beaumont, and Paul of Henry; five sisters, Mrs. W.H. Betterton of Port Neches, Texas, Mrs. Eugene Gautreaux of Abbeville; Mrs. Henry Gautreaux of Abbeville, Mrs. Frank Martin of Franklin, Mrs. Tom Faulk of Lake Charles; nine grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

    The First National Funeral Home in Abbeville, is in charge of funeral arrangements.

    Funeral rites were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the St. John's Catholic church at Henry for Sidney Butaud, 73, retired dairyman of the Henry area who died Saturday morning at 7:45 o'clock in the Abbeville General Hospital.

    Burial was in the New Catholic cemetery in Abbeville.

    Survivors are his widow, the former Effie Bodin, three sons, J. W. of Beaumont, Texas, Gordon, of Port Arthur, Texas, and Gerald of Henry; a daughter, Mrs. L. B. Smith, Port Arthur, Texas, five brothers, L. J. of Abbeville, A. J. and Paul of Henry, C. L. and Robert of Beaumont, Texas; five sisters, Mrs. W. H. Betterton of Port Neches, Texas, Mrs. Eugene Gautreaux and Mrs. Henry Gautreaux of Abbeville, Mrs. Frank Martin of Franklin and Mrs. Tom Faulk of Lake Charles; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
