Pauline Josephine Henson, 93, of Urania, died Friday, September 15, 2006, at the LaSalle Nursing Center in Jena.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Mrs. Henson was born on Oct. 13, 1912, in Zwolle.

Services were held at 4 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 17, at the Urania United Methodist Church in Urania with Rev. Curtis Carroll officiating.

Interment followed in the Urania Cemetery under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Olla.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry H. Henson.

Survivors include her son, Harry K. Henson and wife Pat of Greensboro, N.C.; three daughters, Norma Jane Brandon of Urania, Virginia Lee Casement of Lincoln, NE; and Paula Fran Brown and husband Bill of Urania; nine grandchildren, Gary Brandon, Randy Brandon, Mark Brandon, Robin Pilcher, Lisa Bunch, Lori Shaw, James Casement, Shannon Brown, and Janna Brown; six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Frances A. Frances Amelia Knouse Bradley passed away in her home in Huntsville, Texas, on May 10, 2015.

She was born on September 30, 1917, in Hemphill, Texas, to Joseph Knouse and Paulina Kezele Knouse.

Frances attended lower school in Zwolle, Louisiana, where her father was engaged in the timber business. She attended Sophie Newcomb College in New Orleans, Louisiana, for one year, and transferred to Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where she was graduated in 1939, with a Bachelor of Science Degree.

During World War II, Frances joined the American Red Cross and lived in India, where she met her husband, Sammie David Bradley, who was serving in the United States Air Force in that country. They were married in 1945, and spent the next fifteen years at various Air Force bases in the United States and abroad.

In 1960, after her husband retired from the military service, Frances and her family moved to Huntsville, Texas, where her husband was hired by O. B. Ellis, as Assistant Director of the Texas Department of Corrections, to establish the industrial program.

Frances was involved for decades with the Women's Auxiliary of Huntsville Memorial Hospital, the Huntsville Garden Club, the LSU Alumni and other civic actives.

She is preceded in death by her husband, her brothers and sister and her parents. She is survived by two sons, Jody D. Bradley, Sr. , of Woodville, Mississippi, and his wife Barbara and Jeff H. Bradley of Houston and Huntsville. She is also survived by three grandson, Jody Jr. of Arizona, Jason of Texas, and Jeremy of North Carolina.

Friends may visit on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, from 5-8 pm at the family home.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 1323 16th Street at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 13, 2015, with Father Fred Valone officiating. A private interment will follow.

Donations may be made to the Frances Knouse Bradley Memorial Window Fund at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Huntsville, Texas.

Katherine M. Kezerle Sepulvado was born on Sunday, January 22, 1928 in Zwolle, LA. She passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 in Zwolle, LA.

Katherine married the love of her life, Thomas J. Sepulvado on June 18, 1946. We, her children, were blessed to have her as our mother for all these years. She just naturally knew what the true meaning of love was, and so did Dad. We were blessed to have parents that understood the true meaning of love. Our mother will certainly be missed by all, including all her extended family and friends.

Katherine was admitted to Toledo Nursing Home on January 9, 1990. We, as a family, would like to extend our appreciation to all the staff and residents for showing so much love and care for her over the past 32 years. She had many friends that cared so much for her. Thanks again, and my God bless each and every one of you.

Katherine was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Thomas J. Sepulvado Sr.; son, Thomas J. Sepulvado Jr.; parents, Anthony E. Kezerle and Magdalene (Maggie); brothers, Anthony V. Herman Knouse was born November 5, 1928 to Herman Joseph Knouse and Ruth Bell Barrett Knouse in LeCompte, Louisisana. He was their only child. Herman died peacefully November 21, 2009 at his home in Livingston. Funeral services will be held Tuesday November 24, 2009 at Central Baptist Church in Livingston with Rev. Joel Salazar and Rev. Barry Jeffries officiating. Burial will follow in the Restland Memorial Park.

Herman grew up in Zwolle, Louisiana graduating from high school in 1945. He then attended LSU in Baton Rouge graduating in 1949 with a B.S. in Forestry. Herman met Anita at the Baptist Student Union on the campus of LSU while they were students. Upon graduation in June of 1949, Herman worked as a Parish Forester in Homer, LA. Anita graduated in January of 1950and there were married February 10, 1950 at the First Baptist Church in Baton Rouge. Herman worked over a year for International Paper Company. In march of 1951, their first daughter Ruth Anita, was born. Herman began his career with Champion Papers on December 18, 1951 and in March of 1953, Herman and Anita moved to Livingston. One mother later, in April, their second daughter, Nancy, was born. Ann was born two years later, and Tom, their only son was born in April of 1957.

As a forester, Herman managed timberland, worked in research, and retired as Land Acquisition and Exchange Manager. During his professional career Herman worked tirelessly to implement excellence in timerland management and acquisition of timberland for Champion International Corporation. He retired after 43 years with Champion on December 31, 1994.

Thru the years Herman was active in the Lion''s Club, coached Little League, and worked with the Boy Scouts. Herman worked with Anita on Community Blood Drives and rarely missed an opportunity to help those in need.

Herman was committed member of Central Baptist Church. He served as Sunday School Teacher and Superintendent, Deacon, and Trustee. Harry K. Henson, 75, of Greensboro, NC, formerly of Tullos, Louisiana passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Hospice & Palliative Care of Greensboro's Beacon Place.

A private celebration of his life will be held for the family Father's Day weekend.

Everyone knew him as "Harry K," and also as Papaw, KK, Crow and Eureka. He was born to the union of Harry Henry Henson and Pauline Knouse Henson in Pleasant Hill, La. on December 29th, 1942. He and his family later moved to Jefferson, Texas where he lived until the age of 10. The family then moved to Urania, La. where he met the love of his life, at age 11. As a young teen, Harry K. enjoyed hiking and exploring the local dense forests and was in awe of the historical loblolly pines not far from his home. His love of nature extended to many years of white perch fishing. He loved the study of world history and government and was very accomplished in his knowledge of both. He zealously studied, understood and loved the Word of God and was always ready to share that understanding of the Bible. He unfailingly extended a hand of friendship and kindness to all who crossed his path. When Harry was young, his dream was to drive big trucks in which he ended up doing for his family business (H&K Industries) as well as for Missouri Pacific out of Houston, Texas. He graduated from LaSalle High School in Olla, Louisiana in 1961. One June 12, 1964, he married his childhood sweetheart, Patricia (Pat) Ann Babcock whom he referred to as "Trish." Harry K. worked for Cities Service Oil Company that later became Occidental Petroleum in 1982. Mr. Henson retired in 1998 and moved to Greensboro, NC to be near his children and grandchildren. Anyone who knew Harry K. knew his love and dedication to LSU football. One of his favorite past times was sharing a video of LSU legend Billy Cannon, a Baton Rouge native and 1959 LSU graduate, the winner of the 1959 Heisman Trophy as a halfback. The video features Cannon's most memorable performance his senior season of 1959 against Ole Miss. Top-ranked LSU trailed the third-ranked Rebels 3-0 early in the fourth quarter when Cannon fielded a punt at the LSU 11 and broke seven tackles on his way to a winning touchdown, as the Tigers won 7-3. The run helped cement the Heisman Trophy for Cannon in 1959 and led the Tigers to the 1958 national championship. The radio call by the announcer along with the grainy black-and white film footage is one of Harry K's favorite stories and footage that he loved to share.

Harry K. was a devout Seventh Day Adventist and a member in good standing of the Charles F. Buck Masonic Lodge in Urania, La. for 34 years. After he moved to Greensboro, he was an active volunteer for Friends of Gateway Foundation for ten years where he orchestrated the food and beverage pickup for the annual art auctions to benefit Gateway Education Center and Special Needs Programs in Guilford County Schools. Later in retired life, Harry K. enjoyed fishing, golfing, eating Cajun food, having fish-fries and spending time with his family and grandchildren on beach trips and mountain trips.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Pat Henson of Greensboro, NC and his three children: son, Robin Pilcher, daughter, Lisa Bunch (Keith) and Lori Henson Shaw all of Greensboro.

He is also survived by three sisters who loved and adored him: Jane Henson Brandon, Paula Henson Brown (Bill) of Urania, La. and Virginia Henson Casement of Lincoln, Nebraska.

Also left to cherish his memory are his three grandchildren: Savannah Shaw of Durham, NC, Caroline Shaw of Greenville, NC and Krae Bunch of Greensboro, NC as well as a host of loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and a long-time friends who treasured him.

He will also be missed by his best buddy and pet Peekapoo, Pepe and of course his grand-dogs, Gary and Buster and great grand-dogs, Pup Hutch, Lula and Maisey and last but not least, his 28-year-old Siamese grandcat, Rowan.

The family would like to thank the many staff members at Heartland Living and Rehabilitation Center as well as the interdisciplinary team at Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro and Beacon Place for the love and care he received and the love and support the family received in such a difficult time.

The family is being served by George Brothers Funeral Service.

Vivian Isaac of Castroville died Saturday in Castroville, She was 32.

A native of Chardon, Ohio, she had lived in the Salinas-Castroville area 13 years. She was a private-duty nurse.

She is survived by a daughter, Katherine Isaac of the family home; a sister, Sarah Martin of Castroville; three brothers, Monty and Robert Moncrief, both of Barstow, and DeWayn Kezerle of Castroville; her mother, Jean Forrest Martin of Castroville; a niece; two nephews and a cousin.

She was preceded in death by her father, Anthony V. Kezerle, in 1983.

Funeral services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church, with the Rev. Jim Burdick, pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, officiating.

Burial is to be in Castroville Community Cemetery in Moss Landing.

Memorials can be made to Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church, 11140 Preston St., Castroville.

Funeral services for Anthony Earl Kezerle, 33, of Ebarb, will be held at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, Nov. 22, at the St. Ann's Catholic Church in Ebarb.

EULESS - Philip William Hefley Kezerle, an employee of Sky Chef Airline Catering, died Sunday at a Fort Worth hospital from a brain tumor. He was 27.

There will be no funeral. The body was cremated.

Mr. Kezerle was born in Amarillo and grew up in Fort Worth. He was a 1981 graduate of Brewer High School and attended Tarrant County Junior College, where he majored in journalism and photography. He was a second-place winner in the Texas Press Association competition.

Mr. Kezerle had been with Sky Chef about two years and previously was with the Casa Bonita Corp. for eight years.

He had lived in Euless six months.

Survivors: Mother, Myrna Joy Hefley Kezerle of Fort Worth.
