    Betty J. Wade, 74, of North Zulch, passed away Saturday March 7, 2015 at her residence with family by her side. Her family will receive friends during a visitation at 2 p.m. Thursday March 12, 2015 at St. Michaels Chapel, 2402 South College Ave, at the corner of South College and Williamson in Bryan. A celebration of life funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. with Rev. Michael Gillen officiating. Funeral and cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.

    Betty was born January 10, 1941 in North Zulch, Texas, to Robert and Ella May, and has lived in the North Zulch area for her lifetime.

    She was preceded in death by her father; daughters, Rhonda Wade, Donna Thayer, and Connie Kellar.

    She leaves behind her sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Michelle Wade, Edward and Angela Wade, Randy Wade, Keith and Monica Wade, John and Lynn May; daughter and son-in-law, Tonya and Chris Hayden; mother, Ella May; brothers and sisters-in-law, Henry and Joyce May, Edward and Patricia May, Donald and Katie May, Terry May; sisters and brothers-in-law, Delores Birchum, Linda and Mike Presley, Lanelle and Jerry Gafford; 23 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

    Donna Sue Thayer
    July 30, 1963 - July 12, 1992

    Funeral services for Donna Sue Thayer, 28, of Bastrop will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hillier Funeral Home.

    The Rev. Pat Furtaw of Bethel Temple Assembly of God will officiate. Burial will be in Willow Hole Cemetery in Madison County.

    Visitation at the funeral home will be 5-10 p.m. today and 8 a.m. until the service Wednesday.

    Mrs. Thayer and her sister, Connie Mae Kellar, died Sunday night in St. Joseph Hospital.

    She was a longtime resident of Bryan who had recently moved to Bastrop. Mrs. Thayer was a housewife and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

    She was preceded in death by a sister, Rhonda Jean Wade in 1965.

    Survivors include her husband, Tommy Thayer of Bastrop; two daughters, Christi Denise Thayer and Angela Dee Thayer, both of Bastrop; five brothers and a sister-in-law, Edward Earl and Sherrie Wade of Iola, Randy Allen Wade of Bryan, William Jonathon May of Houston, and Brian Keith Wade and Steven Anthony Wade, both of North Zulch; a sister, Tonya Nicole Wade of North Zulch; her father, David Earl Wade of Bryan; her mother, Betty Jean Wade of North Zulch; her paternal grandmother, Lela James of Bryan; and her maternal grandmother, Ella May of North Zulch.

    Funeral services for Connie Mae Kellar, 26, of Bryan will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hillier Funeral Home.
