    • Obituary:

Elizabeth Rose Lazaroni Carwile passed away on November 2, 2023. She passed into the arms of her Heavenly Father as he said, "Welcome home, Elizabeth." She was born July 15, 1931 in Chicago, IL to Robert and Rose Dusold. Her siblings were Roberta McKendry, Marie Singer, Gerry Reichert, and Robert Jr. She joined the Franciscan Order at the age of 14. She completed her high school and college while in the convent and became a Mother Superior of the school where she taught. She left the convent after 25 years and lived with her parents for 3 years before moving to Las Vegas, Nevada where she met and married Major Vincent Lazaroni, USAF. After Vincent passed, she married Colonel Ernest Dean Carwile, USAF, who died in 2011. Elizabeth was loved and will be missed for her humor and laughter. She is survived by her step-children Lori Lazaroni, Frank Lazaroni, Connie Germann, and Cynthia Graves. She lived at Blue Skies for 28 years and made many wonderful friends who will miss her. She was truly a force of nature.
