BENTON, LA - Funeral services for Hazel Hamilton Dalrymple Leachman, 65, will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, January 19, 2006 at Cypress Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Billy Pierce, assisted by Rev. Tommy Patton. Interment will follow at Lay Cemetery near Benton, LA. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 18, 2006 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City.
Mrs. Leachman passed away January 16, 2006 in Bossier City, LA. She was born in Princeton, LA. She retired as a Secretary from the State Welfare Department. Mrs. Leachman was a member of Cypress Baptist Church and of the Auditorium Sunday School Class. She was a member of the Bossier City Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and a past member of the Benton Garden Club.
Mrs. Leachman was preceded in death by her mother, Marvis Wise Dalrymple and father, Louis Hamilton.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, C. Jack Leachman of Benton, LA; daughters, Rita Gail Temple and husband, Tony of Abilene. TX, Jackie Sue Maggio and husband, Sam IV of Benton, LA, Marcia Lynn Boulia and husband, Douglas of Angier, NC, Christie Leigh Mitchell and husband, Jarrod of Benton, LA; grandchildren, Jennifer Michelle Temple, Deborah Ann Maxwell, Susanne Raye Temple, Joey Maggio, Amanda M. Coker, Ashley N. Coker and Kelly J. Mitchell and great granddaughter, Gabriel Renee Maxwell.
Pallbearers will be W.L. Creamer, Mel Harju, Wayne Craig, Wilton Corley, James Covington. George Winham, Larry Wise, and George McKinney.
The family would like to extend a thank you to her special caregiver Ida Prince.
Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home or to the charity of donor's choice.
