Notes - Obituary:
ATHENS - Rosary for Pamela McNew Motl, 28, Seguin, formerly of Athens, will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home chapel in Athens.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Athens with the Rev. Sam Metzger officiating.
Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Athens.
Ms. Motl died Saturday in Williamson County.
She was born May 21, 1966, in Dallas to Gary Wayne and Linda Avanell Kelly Motl. She resided in Athens for several years before moving to Palestine in 1992. She resided in Seguin for two months. She worked as a security guard at Tennessee Colony.
Survivors include her parents, Gary and Linda Motl, Seguin; grandmother, Dorothy Kelly, Dallas; two brothers and one sister-in-law, James and Betty Motl, New Braunfels, and Shane Motl, Seguin; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Jeanne and Allen Barker, Palestine, and "Missy" Linda Motl, New Braunfels; two aunts, Sally Ward, Athens, and Mary Lou Palmer, Dallas; one uncle, James Kelly, Plano; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
