HRONEK, Lois E., 85, of Caldwell died Thursday. Visitation 6 p.m. today, Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home, Caldwell. Services 2 p.m. Sunday, Cooks Point Brethren Church, Cooks Point. Burial Cooks Point Brethren Church Cemetery.

Lois Elaine Hronek 85, of Caldwell passed away Thursday, May 19, 2011 at her home. Services were held Sunday, May 22 at Cooks Point Brethren Church with Rev. Delbert Price officiating. Burial was in Cooks Point Brethren Cemetery.
Lois was born October 13, 1925 in Burleson County to Fred W. and Annie A. Philipp Schoenemann and grew up in the Merle Community. On January 24, 1945, she was married to Melvin Milton Hronek in Temple, Texas. For many years she helped her husband operate their dairy and ranch. She was a member of Cooks Point Brethren Church and served as treasurer of Christian Sisters.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a sister, Velma Wilkins and a brother, Roy Schoeneman.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Novella Hronek of Caldwell and Melvin and Janet Hronek of West Columbia; a daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Mickey Littlejohn of Somerville; siblings, Willie Mae Sherwood, Dorothy Price, Floyd Schoeneman, Mary Muelle and husband Vince, Donald Schoeneman, Clyde Schoeneman and wife Faye, Maxine Kraft and husband Earl; two sisters-in-law, Bernice Hronek and Mildred Schoeneman, three grandsons, Kenneth Hronek, Jr. and wife, Sarah, Jason Hronek and Holden Hronek and wife, Darci; three granddaughters, Tanise Faust and husband,Dwayne, Allison Littlejohn and fiance Michael Castator, Shannon Littlejohn and several great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ben Polasek, Billy Albright, Dwayne Faust, Holden Hronek, Lamar Drgac and Vernon Schoeneman.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be given to Hospice Brazos Valley, 502 W. 26th St., Bryan Texas 77803, Traditions Hospice, 1706 E. 29th St., Suite 101, Bryan, Texas 77802, or to Cooks Point Brethren Church, c/o Ruth Albright, 2151 CR 228, Caldwell, Texas 77836.
