Bonus Water - Hubert Joseph Drgac
BONUS WATER--Korean veteran Hubert Drgac and his dog, Fred, look out over a field which they soaked up with other people's rain. Drgac build a modified syrup-pan terrace system and diverted water from a rampaging creek to spread over his fields. While the creek was running, Drgac was running too, shovel in hand, making sure his terraces and spillways worked right. The dog wasn't much help, but he was a heap of company.
