LEBLUE - At her residence on English Bayou, in this parish, Monday morning, June 11, 1993, Mrs. CLEMENTINE LEBLUE, wife of Martin Leblue, aged about 37 years.

Deceased was highly esteemed by those who knew her well. She leaves a husband and nine children and a large circle of relatives and friends to mourn her departure from among them. She was buried on Tuesday, in the Catholic cemetery at this place, the Rev. Father M. Kelley, conducting the funeral obsequies.

Dr. J. T. Houston, the eldest brother of Prof. G. O. Houston of this place, died at his home at Sarepta, La. on Thursday last, December 12. The deceased was 45 years of age, and leaves a family of six children. The doctor was well known in De Soto parish, having practiced his profession at Logansport for a number of years. On account of failing health, he moved back to his old home in Webster parish. The direct cause of his death was influenza. Peace to his ashes.
