Wolf, born on January 16, 1939, Port Arthur Texas, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2025, in Groves, Texas. A beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Theresa lived a life filled with dedication and service, leaving a lasting legacy in her community through her work as a secretary for the Port Arthur Independent School District. In her years of service, Theresa profoundly impacted the lives of many students and families, known for her caring demeanor and unwavering commitment to her work. She was a pillar of support not only in her professional role but within her family, exemplifying love and resilience throughout her life. She was loved dearly by her family. Theresa was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Kenneth Wayne Wolf, with whom she shared 53 wonderful years, and her cherished son, Kenneth Wayne Wolf Jr. Their absence remains deeply felt by those who loved them. She is survived by her loving daughter, Kelly Johnson of Nederland, TX, and her loving son, Kenneth Christopher Wolf of Groves, TX. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Misty Cooley (Shannon) and Krista Robinson (Richard), who carry forward the values she instilled in them. Theresa was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Kayden Robinson and Lane Conner Cooley and Kaylee Robinson, who brought immense joy to her life. Theresa is remembered by her brother, Michael Wayne Talbot (Francis) of Pooler, Georgia, and her sister, Peggy Viator of Port Acres, who cherished their bond and the memories they shared. Her family invites all who knew and loved Theresa to join them in honoring her life. There will be a visitation held on December 16, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home, located at 5601 39th St, Groves, TX. Following the visitation, a funeral service will commence at 2:00 PM, also at the funeral home. Theresa will then be laid to rest during a burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park, located at 3900 Twin City Highway, Groves, TX, at 3:00 PM. In this moment of reflection, we celebrate a remarkable life lived full of kindness, love, and devotion. Theresa Wolf will be deeply missed, but her spirit and impact will endure in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her. Theresa was born on February 24, 1927 in Kaplan, the daughter of Enus DuBois and Aline LeBlanc DuBois. Theresa was a very active person who never met a stranger. She enjoyed playing bingo and made many lifelong friends over the years. She was a true Berwick Panther Fan who attended many sporting events over the years watching her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren play. Her spirt and fight is something we all wish to inherit. | 3704 | Obituary: Thomas "Randy" Stelly August 15, 1952 - October 2, 2024 Nederland, Texas Thomas Randall Stelly, affectionately known as Randy, was born on August 15, 1952, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He departed this life peacefully on October 2, 2024, in Beaumont, Texas, leaving behind a legacy filled with love, kindness, and unwavering faith. Randy dedicated 15 years of his career to the City Nederland as a Meter Reader, and was proud to retire from public service. His contributions to the community reflected his caring nature and commitment to those he served. A proud veteran, Randy also honorably served in the United States Air Force, a testament to his character and dedication to his country. A faithful member of Faith Baptist Temple, Randy found great joy and purpose in his spiritual community. Those who knew him would often describe him as laid back, possessing a calming demeanor that made others feel at ease. He never met a stranger; his warm personality and love for conversation drew people to him like a magnet. Randy's love for dancing was well-known, bringing joy not only to him but also to everyone who had the pleasure of witnessing his joyful spirit. Randy's proudest accomplishments included being very involved in politics, where he had the honor of attending several Republican National Conventions-an experience that brought him immense pride. He leaves behind a devoted family, including his beloved wife, Cheryl Stelly of Nederland; his cherished daughter, Stacey Spurlock; and his sons, Dallas Stelly and wife Catrina, and Randall "Clint" Stelly, and step-son, Benjie Pinell. Randy was a loving brother to his sisters, Paula Bouget and Linda Wheeler, and her husband Bob. His family also includes his adoring grandchildren: Dezareae Abair, Rubin Soto, Micah Soto, Breann Arrant, Brian Arrant, Nathan Stelly, Brittany Stelly, and Kyleigh Pinell, along with seven great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Lucille Stelly, and his sister, Lucy Beard. His absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him. | 3706 | Obituary: Thomas Anders Skrivanek Thomas Anders Skrivanek, 53, passed away on July 17, 2000, at Cooks Point. He was born January 21, 1947, in Rosenberg and had lived most of his life in the Cooks Point Community of Burleson County. He was a rancher and partner in Skrivanek Polled Hereford Ranch. He graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1965 in Bryan, and attended Blinn College and Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, majoring in music education. He was a member of the A&M United Methodist Church in College Station. Active in community affairs, Tommy held membership and various offices such as the Burleson County Farm Bureau, including vice-president, president of the Caldwell Rotary Club, and he also held offices in the Burleson County Young Farmers. He had been a member of the Board of Directors of the Czech Education Foundation of Texas and a member of the American Hereford Association. His love of music, especially classical, was a hobby and interest all of his life. He further had a life-long love for the land, animals of all kinds, farming and ranching. He attended various programs and short-courses in an effort to keep his knowledge up on the most current issues and upgrade his skills. Tommy is survived by his wife Shelom, his mother Grace Skrivanek, both of Cooks Point, a brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Susan Skrivanek of Caldwell, and two nieces - Sarah Skrivanek Bush of Bryan and Anne Skrivanek of Caldwell, along with numerous cousins. He was proceeded in death by his father, Joseph J. Skrivanek, Jr. in 1991. Services were handled by Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell. Graveside services were held at the Skrivanek Family Cemetary located on the Thomas Skrivanek Ranch in the Cooks Point community with Rev. Henry Beseda officiating. He was born on September 1, 1949, in Edinburg, Texas, to Ida Ethelene Underwood Trahan and George Edward Cameron. Eddie was an avid reader of Westerns and enjoyed reading Louis L'Amour books, fishing, playing dominos and drinking coffee. He was a retired pipe line surveyor. Eddie was a loving father, son, and brother. He was a member of the Winnie-Stowell Church of Christ. | 3708 | Obituary: Thomas Fry Services Planned Funeral services for Thomas H. Fry, 66, whose father, Oliver, founded the town of Fry near Ft. Huachuca, will be held at 4:30 p.m. today at Bring's Funeral Home chapel. L. H. Ousley, of the Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be in South Lawn Memorial Park. Mr. Fry was dead on arrival at Tucson Medical Center Thursday night shortly after he had collapsed with an apparent heart attack while dining with his wife at a local restaurant. He was born in Centerville, Iowa, and moved to Houston, Tex., with his parents when he was 7 years old. He attended Houston schools. Mr. Fry and his father homesteaded what came to be known as the town of Fry in 1912. The original town still exists but is surrounded by the town of Sierra Vista. Mr. Fry drove the high school bus between Ft. Huachuca and Tombstone for 16 years before ill health forced him to retire in 1958. He had lived at 2538 N. Forgeus Ave. since that time. He is survived by his wife, Lema; four sisters, Mrs. June Clark, of San Francisco, Mrs. Alice Rogers, of El Paso, and Mrs. Edna Smith and Miss Agnes Fry, of Bisbee; two brothers, Cecil, of Scottsdale, and Irving, of Fry; and two stepdaughters, Mrs. Helen Grainger, of Douglas, and Mrs. Wanda Davis, of Junction, Tex. He served in the U.S. Army from 1945 to 1951 in Germany and Japan, then Stateside during the Korean War. Thomas worked in structural sheet metal for 43 years. His specialty was detailed layout and development on large projects, including designing parts and tools. Employed at Hayes Aircraft 1952-1959. Retired from Steward Machine Co. 1991. A skilled carpenter and mechanic, Thomas enjoyed fine woodworking and restoring cars for himself, family and friends. His wit and tender heart made him special and he will be in our hearts forever. He was an avid athlete and held many high school records in both track and football. In 1990 he was inducted into the AHS Hall of Fame. | 3716 | Obituary: Thomas R. Horton HORTON--Thomas R., died on August 8 in DeLand, FL. Born in 1926 in Fort Pierce, FL, to Charles M. and Ruby S. Horton, he graduated from the Bolles School in Jacksonville and immediately joined the U.S. Army, where he served as a technical sergeant in Germany during World War II. He and his wife, Marilou Deeming Horton, both graduated from Stetson University, of which he was trustee emeritus. Horton earned his Ph.D. in mathematics at the University of Florida and held several honorary degrees. After teaching for two years at Bolles, Mr. Horton spent 28 years with the IBM Corporation where, among other things, he led the teams that located the Russian sputnik and guided the first U.S. man-in-space effort, later directing IBM's largest development activity, the worldwide $5 billion System/360. After retiring from IBM he became CEO of the American Management Association and later its President Emeritus. He was the author of many books, including The CEO Paradox: The Privilege and Accountability of Leadership (AMACOM, 1992). Horton served on the boards of seven corporations, two banks, five colleges and universities, and numerous nonprofit organizations. He was advisor to many organizations, including Marquis Who's Who in America and is listed in its centennial edition, Who's Who in 20th Century America. A member of the First Baptist Church of DeLand, Mr. Horton is survived by his wife Marilou Horton of DeLand and their three daughters, Susan Polos of Katonah, NY, Jean Horton of San Rafael, CA, and Marilyn Horton of Bronxville, NY, two grandsons, and two granddaughters. Tommy was born to Faye and Jeff Wiggins on June 23, 1941, in Hedley, TX and moved to Pasadena, TX in 1958. He graduated from Pasadena High School and continued his education at Lee College. He entered the apprenticeship program with IBEW and became an electrician. His expertise in the electrical field led him to an Executive Electrical Engineer with Anheuser Busch. He married the love of his life, Sharon in December of 1963. They were married for a little over 60 years. Tommy was known to be very devoted father and family member. He also spent time coaching youth football and baseball. He and his twin sister, Jean had an unbelievable connection that his family referred to as "twining." On many occasions throughout their 82 years, they could feel each other's physical injuries, even while living across country from each other. His hobbies included Bogie and cowboy movies, camping, riding motorcycles, wood-carving, wood-working, fishing, golfing, cooking, family BBQ's and fish fry's. He and the Wiggins family were pillar members of Parkwood Methodist Church where he attended for 65 years. Tommy was preceded in death by his father and mother, Jeff and Faye Wiggins and his grandson, Lucas Wiggins. He was a big fan of the Rangers, Cowboys, Mavericks and Longhorns. He loved playing golf, but his favorite pastime was walking up and down the sidelines watching his son Chris play football and cheering him on. Oh what a joy and peace hes experiencing now. Mr. Barker was a Veteran of the National Guard, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. | 3737 | Obituary: Tommy Glyen Jackson June 17, 1936 - June 11, 2015 Tommy was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana on June 17, 1936 to Charles and Martha Irby. Tom's father passed when he was 3 months old and Martha remarried Leo Jackson, who adopted Tom. He was preceded to Heaven by all his parents, his son Victor and his niece Charmaine Clement Emmons. He leaves to honor his memory, his wife of 60 years, Regina Guidry Jackson, their daughters, Kym Cowart and Kathryn Lindsay. Kathryn's husband Curt and their children, Jackson and Claudette. Their granddaughter, Victor's Daughter, Kelsey Lowery and her husband Chris and their son Carter, plus one due in December! He is also survived by his sister, Susan Clement Newman and her son Chad Clement. Tom graduated LaGrange High, Class of 1955. He was Class President with many other accomplishments and titles that year as well. Tom worked for Louisiana Power & Light from 1956-1957 in Monroe, LA, where his son Victor was born. He was a sales engineer for GM Diesel from 1957-1961 In New Orleans, LA, where his daughter Kym was born. He then became an agent for New York Life from 1961-1964 in Lafayette, LA, where his last child and daughter Kathryn was born. He was promoted to Assistant Manager at New York Life in 1964 and moved the family to Oklahoma City, OK. He continued in this position until 1974. He was awarded Presidents Club Membership in 1975. Tom had caught the photography bug early on and when he and Regina moved to OKC, he put a darkroom in the garage. From there, he created the Pictureman, which was the name he was known by for most of his adult life. He took team pictures and action shots for little league sports and several schools. It grew into a business that let him leave New York Life and be the Pictureman full time. He was now a professional photographer. Tom established Pro Photo Lab, INC. in 1974 and was President and Owner for 28 years. He marketed products in Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas. His client list included Phillips Petroleum, Kerr- McGee, Zebco, Pradco, Bass Pro, Braums and all the Major TV stations in Oklahoma City; some clients in Texas, too many to list. In 2002, he sold Pro Photo and retired "well he tried" so he rekindled The Pictureman, and was active from 2002-2012. Taking over 325 teams per year. In 2012 he established himself as Tom Jackson Photography. Commercial photography was less cumbersome and remember he had retired! By 2014 age and illness had slowed him down and he decided to put the lens cap on the camera and turn off the flash. He took it easy until God called him home on June 11, 2015. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Deacon Harold Nixon will officiate. Interment will follow. Tommy spent most of his early years on the family ranch west of McCamey. He attended school in Sheffield and McCamey. He graduated from McCamey High School and attended Texas A&M for two years. He was a member of the University Mounted Cavalry and the wrestling team. He married Kathryn Joiner on Thanksgiving, November 25, 1948. They were faithful to each other more than 50 years. Tommy believed and obeyed God's Word. He loved the Lord's Church and was a member of the Emerson Street Church of Christ from the day he was baptized. He loved his family, the church, McCamey, Texas, ranching, storytelling, and the Aggies. He often expressed gratitude and appreciation to the citizens of McCamey and the doctors, nurses, certified nursing assistants of the McCamey Hospital, McCamey Convalescent Center, and Interim Hospice. Tommy was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn; his parents, Theodore Willis and Alma Mae Johnson; one brother, James Wesley Johnson; all his sisters and their husbands, Phyllis and BB Ingram, Yvonne and Sam Selby, Ellen and Garland Dean, Mona and Jerry Lambeth; Kathryn's sisters and their husbands, Betty and Bill Green, Bonnie and Frank Robbins; and son-in-law, Donnie Anderson. Tracey was a drum major for the Sabine High School band and participated and helped start the Sabine girls' golf program. Tracey devoted the next ten years of her life to her loving eight year old daughter, Rylie Jaysa Turk. Tracey loved to help people in many parts of their lives. She had a very tender heart for her daughter and all of her many friends and family she loved so much. Tracey was preceded in death by Pat Little Meme and Joyce Mae Autery Nanny. Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Doc and Patsy Turk and Sammy and Jackie Horvath. | 3748 | Obituary: Tragedy Clouds Holiday Eve In Rayne; Two Boys Killed Tragedy clouded the holiday picture for the Rayne community when Kermit Comeaux, 12, was instantly killed and his companion, Michael Dewey Clement, 11, died later in Rayne Branch hospital from injuries sustained in a highway accident shortly after 1 p.m. Tuesday. The boys were riding on one bicycle about one mile west of Rayne on highway 90 when struck by a car driven by Mrs. Dorothy B. Tweedel, 37, 503 N. Ethel street, Church Point. According to testimony at the inquest, conducted by Dr. Mims Morgan, parish coroner, the boys were doubling on the bicycle traveling on the highway when they turned suddenly in the path of the car driven by Mrs. Tweedel. Young Comeaux was pronounced dead on arrival at the Rayne hospital. Michael Clement died at 9:30 p.m. at the hospital. Both youths were students at South Rayne elementary school. Joint funeral services were held at St. Joseph Catholic church at 3 p.m. Wednesday, with burial in the church cemetery directed by Gossen Funeral Home.
