Wayne Craig, of First Baptist Church of Benton. Burial will be at Lay Cemetery at rural Benton, La. Mr. Wells died Tuesday Feb. 16, 1988, in Shreveport after a short illness. He was born in Benton and was a resident most of his life. Mr. Wells was an employee of Frank's Farms and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Vivian. He is survived by his mother, Mary L. Wells of Benton; tow sons, Tomas E. Wells, Jr. and Daniel M. Wells, of Benton; a daughter, Darla Stephens of Colton, Calif.; a sister, Zelda Orr of Shreveport; two brothers, John D. Wells of Fountain Valley, Calif. and James H. Wells of Longview, Texas; a granddaughter, Alicia Wells of Bossier City, La. A visitation will be held Friday, February 1, from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Tony was born on March 27, 1956 in Winters, Texas to the Richard Temple and the late Rebecca Lidell-Young. He served his country in the US Air Force. Tony married Rita Gail Leachman on May 15, 1982 and were blessed with 36 years of marriage. He was very talented and could work and repair almost anything. His passion was his family and he enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle and working on his cars. Tony was a member of the West Texas Chapter of the "Hogs" (Harley Owners Group). He and Rita enjoyed traveling, especially on their Harley's. Tony will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Tony is survived by his loving wife, Rita Gail Temple; daughters, Jennifer Temple and Susanne Temple and her fiance Gerald Decker; grandchildren, Wyatt Ray Tubb, James William Clutter; sister, Dixie Mendez; brother, Roger Young; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Tracey was born in San Angelo Texas on December 11th 1981 to her Parents, Doc Ed Turk and Jackie Dea Horvath. Tracey lived her first years in Iraan, Texas and graduated from Sabine high school in Liberty City Texas. Tracey was a drum major for the Sabine High School band and participated and helped start the Sabine girls' golf program. Tracey devoted the next ten years of her life to her loving eight year old daughter, Rylie Jaysa Turk. Tracey loved to help people in many parts of their lives. She had a very tender heart for her daughter and all of her many friends and family she loved so much. Tracey was preceded in death by Pat Little Meme and Joyce Mae Autery Nanny. Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Doc and Patsy Turk and Sammy and Jackie Horvath. Her many brothers and their wives and many sisters and their husbands: Stacey Wood, Corey Vineyard, Eric Vineyard, Joni Rice, Cari Waggoner, Tye Salter, Carly and Jesse Horvath. | 3560 | Obituary: Tragedy Clouds Holiday Eve In Rayne; Two Boys Killed Tragedy clouded the holiday picture for the Rayne community when Kermit Comeaux, 12, was instantly killed and his companion, Michael Dewey Clement, 11, died later in Rayne Branch hospital from injuries sustained in a highway accident shortly after 1 p.m. Tuesday. The boys were riding on one bicycle about one mile west of Rayne on highway 90 when struck by a car driven by Mrs. Dorothy B. Tweedel, 37, 503 N. Ethel street, Church Point. According to testimony at the inquest, conducted by Dr. Mims Morgan, parish coroner, the boys were doubling on the bicycle traveling on the highway when they turned suddenly in the path of the car driven by Mrs. Tweedel. Young Comeaux was pronounced dead on arrival at the Rayne hospital. Michael Clement died at 9:30 p.m. at the hospital. Both youths were students at South Rayne elementary school. Joint funeral services were held at St. Joseph Catholic church at 3 p.m. Wednesday, with burial in the church cemetery directed by Gossen Funeral Home. Comeaux survivors are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eudy Comeaux; paternal grandfather, Alexon Comeaux, Rayne; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Felix Benoit, Roanoke; eight sisters, Mrs. Fernand Constantin, Mrs. Leeward Roy, Mrs. Ernest Conner, Darla Ann, Anerly, Irma Marie, Carol Jane and Bernita Faye, all of Rayne; five brothers, Baverly, Millard, Milton Joseph, Preston and Larry, all of Rayne. Trevor's love of gymnastics started when he was a young boy and carried him all the way through his college years when he was a cheerleader with the Weber State Wildcats. His love of tumbling cultivated a greater love of coaching and teaching. In 2003, he served as a Spanish speaking missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, in the Tampa, Florida Mission. He served in Naples, Tampa, Clearwater, and Punta Gorda. While Trevor spent time as a Wildcat, he also earned his degree as a Bachelor of Business Administration and Business Management. Recently, he landed his dream job with a company he adored. Although he hadn't been there long, Trevor was very excited to be a part of the team at NICE in Contact. Trevor loved the outdoors and animals. He loved taking his dog on walks on the trails in Farmington. He also truly adored his family and his friends and had a very happy, outgoing personality. Trevor was preceded in death by his father, Mark, his Grandmas Betty and Madge, and Grandpa John. He is survived by his mother, Jill, brother Adam (Anna), sisters Sasha and Kiera, and nephews Tyler, Jackson, Peyton, and Camden and nieces Abby and Romee. Trevor was loved by many, and loved many. Carwile - beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 15, 2011. He was born May 7, 1918, in Gorman, Texas. Ernest graduated from the University of Omaha with a degree in Civil Engineering. He was drafted into the Army, Cavalry Division and was subsequently assigned to bombardier training. He was commissioned as a 2nd Lt. in Midland, TX. He served during WWII on Tinian Air Base, Marianna Islands and was shot down near Yalta, Japan, for which he was awarded the Purple Heart medal. In August 1946, he was assigned to duty in Germany for three years as a Provost Marshal and Squadron Commander. The highlight of his career was the privilege of serving for 5 years with Gen. Curtis LeMay. He retired from military service after 30 years. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Neoma Laughlin Carwile who passed away in 2005. He had many health difficulties throughout his life, but the last few months had been extremely challenging. He was born Oct. 21, 1951, in Logan, Utah, and grew up in River Heights, Utah, with his parents, siblings, aunts, uncles and cousins. He attended Cache County Schools and graduated from Sky View High School. He also graduated with a bachelor's degree from Utah State University in commercial advertising design and illustration. He was a talented artist and a meticulous craftsman. Vance had a strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as a missionary in the Netherlands Amsterdam mission and also the England Birmingham Mission. He loved serving in the Logan LDS Temple as an ordinance worker and also served a family history mission. He was a high priest in the River Heights 4th Ward at the time of his death. He is survived by his mother, Mary Charlene Keller, and siblings Guy (Carolyn) Keller, Kathy (Tyler) Griffiths, Susan (Dave) Eliason and Aaron (Becky) Keller, and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Anne Bosworth. Mrs. Burns was a teacher and educator with the Denver Public Schools for 33 years. She was a life member of the D.A.R., Kappa Delta Pi Sorority and the P.T.A. She received the Outstanding and Distinguished Teacher Award in 1963.
