Father's Favorite Poem: (This is a poem our father received in a birthday card and carried it in his bible.) Dad, your words of wisdom helped to get me through my youth: "Do your best." "Be happy." "Mind your manners." "Tell the truth." And while I've always valued your advice, I now see your wonderful example is what taught the most to me. From watching you, I've learned to find the joy in little things. I've seen the satisfaction and fulfillment hard work brings. I've watched your quiet courage when tough times come along, and I've seen that being gentle often makes a person strong... In all these ways, you've shown me what it means to love and to live, and that's the greatest lesson any dad can ever give. Thanks, Dad ... (Source Unknown) | Hagen, Clarion Burnell Sr. (I12236)
